1) Evolution is Just a theory, not a fact!
The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) is the largest Organization of science teachers worldwide. With more than 57,000 includes science teachers, science supervisors, administrators, scientists, business and industry representatives, and others involved in and committed to science education. NSTA issued the following statement :
"Evolution is a major unifying concept in science and should be included in the K–12 science education frameworks and curricula. Furthermore, if evolution is not taught, students will not achieve the level of scientific literacy they need. This position is consistent with that of the National Academies, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and many other scientific and educational organisations."
There are thousands of applications in science based on this fact. May be its debatable how living organisms evolved, but its confirmed that we did evolve.
2) If you believe in Evolution, then you are an atheist "or a monkey"!
Islam never contradicted with the idea of Evolution, Muslim scientists only started to fight Evolution thoughts in the 18th century just to support the church. There are Many verses in Quran supporting the idea that evolution was god's way of creation. I would like to mention Ibn khaldon's opinion about it " the famous muslim scientist and philosopher", He wrote in his book "Muqaddimah" in 1377:
" One should then look at the world of creation. It started out from the minerals and progressed, to plants and animals. The last stage 269 of minerals is connected with the first stage of plants. The last stage of plants is connected with the first stage of animals, such as snails and shellfish which have only the power of touch. The word "connection" with regard to these created things means that the last stage of each group is fully prepared to become the first stage of the next group.
The animal world then widens, its species become numerous, and, in a gradual process of creation, it finally leads to man, who is able to think and to reflect. At this point we come to the first stage of man after (the world of monkeys). This is as far as our (physical) observation extends."
We "as muslims" should only oppose the idea that this Evolution process happened on a random basis, but we believe it was done by divine interference, by god's will. Logic speaking Its very hard to imagine that a random explosion in a mechanic's shop will create the latest model of Ferrari by chance, and that's why we believe in a creator interference! Even youssef el qaradawy said that if science approves Evolution, then it doesn't contradict with islam.
For example this verse :
{ يا أيها الإنسان ما غرك بربك الكريم ، الذي خلقك فسواك فعدلك ، في أي صورة ما شاء ركبك }
The word "فعدلك" coincides with what modern science had revealed from the Fossils; that early humans used to walk on both hands and legs, based on the angle of the pelvic bone, and then they started to stand straight.
{ أَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا ، وَاللَّهُ أَنْبَتَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا ، ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا ، وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا ، لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا } [نوح: 15-20]
In order to explain Adam's and Eve creation within the lights of the Evolution i need another post, and it needs to be reviewed from a specialist.
3) Evolutionists claim that we evolved from monkeys!
Based on Evolution and Fossil record, we did not evolve from chimpanzee, we just had a common ancestor some 6 million years ago.
4) Early humans were So Tall, Adam's height was 60 Feet!
Adam was not 60 feet tall. The oldest recorded fossil for our species was about 2.6 million years ago, and it was 3 to 4 feet tall. Early humans based on the fossil record were shorter than us, as time passed we got taller with bigger brains.
5) Nasa declared that the moon was split into 2!
There is no scientific evidence until now that the moon was split into two parts or more. NASA had to issue a statement to reply this silly claims, they said " No current scientific evidence reports that the Moon was split into two (or more) parts and then reassembled at any point in the past."
6) Neil Armstrong converted in to islam when he heard the Muslim prayers "azan" on the moon,"Za3'lol negar" claims that he listened to him saying that on BBC!
It's just pure crap. i listened to Armstrong's full interview on BBC and he didn't mention any of this. Nasa again had to issue a statment saying that he didn't convert into islam at this time.
7) God's curse on Jews and whoever supports them!
A jew is different than a Zionist! Not all jews are Zionists. We have no problem with the Jews, Islam teaches us to love them as all other humans, Our problem is with the Zionists, whom have invaded our lands, killed the Palestinians and still doing that.
Why am i writing this? Cause Allah ordered us to observe how he created the universe and life, using science and critical thinking was mentioned many times in Quran:
﴿أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ (19) قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنْشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الأَخِرَةَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (20)﴾ (سورة العنكبوت)
It's just sad that a nation started with major break through in all fields of science, suddenly turns into a third world consumers.

ReplyDeleteLet me just clarify something here. There is a difference between Evolution as a concept, and the theory that evolution is a scientific alternative to creation. That last one is just a theory and that last one opposes Islam and all other religions.
